US
Presidential Security Advisor, HR McMaster, called the crash of the
demonstrators in Charlottesville, Virginia, last Saturday as a terrorism act in
the country (domestic terrorism). McMaster also said the incident must be
investigated in the corridors of civil rights violations.
"Action
attacks aimed at frightening people, it is an act of terrorism," said
McMaster, who was quoted by Sky News as saying on Saturday, according to the
definition of terrorism.
The mayor of
Charlottesville, Mike Signer, also called the collision event that killed one
person and wounded 19 others as a terrorist attack.
Currently,
the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Civil Rights
Division of the Ministry of Justice, and the US Attorney General's Office led
the investigation into the case of the deadly crash.
"
Meanwhile, the perpetrator of
the crash, James Alex Fields, Jr., a 20-year-old boy from Ohio, was indicted
for several articles, including murder and mistreatment.
"The
perpetrators have been charged with the murder and persecution sections,"
explains Martin Kumer, law enforcement authority in Charlottesville.
The FBI's
decision to investigate the action in the corridors of civil rights cases
suggests that the perpetrator is also threatened with a breach of human rights
violations under US law.

The white
supremacist group rallied against the city's decision to bring down the statue
of Robert E Lee in Charlottesville. Lee was a commander of the American
Confederate military (CSA) during the US Civil War (1861-1865).
Demonstration
against the decline of the statue of Robert E Lee was titled "Unite the
Right". The demonstration attracted white supremacy groups, Ku Klux Klan,
neo-Nazis, alt-Right and politically extreme right-wing individuals to join.
Meanwhile, a
group of opposition demonstrators are fighting against protests by white
supremacists. The opposition considers that the actions of the supremacy group
seem to revive the Civil War memories and racialism issues.
Opposition demonstrators consist of
African-American communities, anti-fascists, religious groups, and a number of
liberal-liberal individuals.
